3 Ways to Create Cohesive Graphics

Although I’m not a graphic designer, I know how important it is for all of my graphics to be uniform and recognizable as my own – especially on visual platforms like Pinterest. That’s why I got my good friend Lindsey from Blog Me Lovely to make me social media and blog graphic templates so I can always stay cohesive with all of my graphics without having to reinvent the wheel each time I write a new blog post.

Creating cohesive blog and social media graphics is an essential. Find out 3 ways to create cohesive graphics on Confetti Social.

3 Ways to Create Cohesive Graphics

Create a Style Guide & Stick To It

If you have a custom blog design, then you probably already have a style guide and you don’t even know it. A style guide consists of your color palette, hex codes, and your font styles for your blog. A style guide can help you keep your colors and fonts cohesive when you’re making your blog and social media graphics.

If you don’t already have a style guide for some reason or another, then you can easily make your own. Just compile the fonts and colors that you’ve been using on your blog already to start creating cohesive graphics today.

Get Templates Made or Make Your Own

Since I’m not much of a designer myself, I had social media and blog templates made but if you’re a little more confident with designing then you can certainly make your own using a site like Canva or Photoshop.

This makes it easy to continue to have cohesive graphics because all you need to do is change out the photo and text for each post.

Add Your Website on Every Graphic

This super simple tip helps your graphics stand out especially on Pinterest. Even if the person doesn’t click through your graphic to visit your website the first time they see it, this element will be super recognizable.
