Use Instagram Captions to Attract Your Target Audience

Keep your brand’s voice in mind

When crafting your Instagram caption, make sure to keep your brand’s voice in mind. You don’t want to be posting any captions that don’t resonate with your brand so make sure to always keep that in mind when deciding on your caption.

Take your time

You probably won’t be able to whip out your best caption on the fly so set some time aside each week to schedule out your Instagram posts and write your captions. I started doing this a few months ago and it’s really helped me improve my captions.

Make sure your caption adds value

Of course, not every single caption is going to be super heartfelt and calculated but your caption should add some type of value to the photo. I like to post pretty styled stock images of desktops and office supplies and then follow up with a heartfelt caption that people can resonate with. It’s those vulnerable posts that will really hook your audience and have them wanting more.

Use a Call to Action (CTA)

Always, always, always include a call to action in your Instagram caption. People need some type of indication that they’re supposed to take an action on your post. I like to ask questions in my captions to entice my audience to respond.
