Let’s be real, there is not enough time in the day to do everything on our own. That’s why automation tools exist and why we as bloggers and business owners utilize them to help us with our day to day business tasks. I wanted to share some of my top tools for bloggers today.
Tailwind // As bloggers, Pinterest is a must and something to help us schedule our pins is needed because ain’t nobody got time for manual pinning when scheduling your pins with a Pinterest approved scheduler is more efficient and just as effective. Tailwind is only $14.99 a month so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be utilized as a part of your marketing strategy.
Accounting Software // If you’re making any money from blogging, you should definitely look into using an accounting software. You should be using a spreadsheet to track your income and expenses at the very least but if you’re not good with numbers like me, an accounting software makes keeping up with everything even easier.
Yoast SEO // SEO for bloggers is crucial so having a tool in your back pocket like Yoast is very beneficial. It’s a free WordPress plugin so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have it if you’re on WordPress.
An email list // If you haven’t started collecting emails yet, then you need to start immediately. Being able to get access to people via their inbox is one hundred times better than them giving you a follow on social media because with email there are no algorithms to combat, you just need to have an intriguing subject line to entice them to open.
Affiliate marketing platform // As a blogger you’re most likely already sharing your favorite products with the world so why not get a small kickback from any purchases made via your affiliate links. My two favorite affiliate marketing platforms for those in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle space are RewardStyle and ShopStyle.
