To be a successful social media manager, you are going to need some awesome tools under your belt so today I’m sharing some of my favorite social media tools for social media managers so that those who are new to the game know the best tools to use.
Must Have Social Media Tools for Social Media Managers
Smarterqueue
As a social media manager, you are going to need to have a social media scheduler. I use SmarterQueue for posting on Facebook, Twitter, and the daily prompts in my Facebook group. I have written a complete review about SmarterQueue before so if you have never heard of this tool before, then you may want to read that post first. There are certainly a lot of other scheduling tools out there but this one is just my personal preference.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a necessary tool for bloggers and business owners everywhere. It helps you see exactly where your traffic is coming from which is really important but Google Analytics also includes a slew of other really cool features that most people haven’t even tapped into yet.
Bitly
I love using Bitly links to shorten my links and track how many clicks they are receiving. Bitly actually integrates with SmarterQueue so my links are automatically made into Bitly links when I use the platform.
LastPass
LastPass is an essential tool for social media managers as it allows for clients to share their login information with you without having to reveal their password to you.
ConvertKit
This may not be an essential for every blogger and business owner out there, but it sure is for me. Being able to communicate with both my customers and email subscribers is really important to me.
BuzzSumo
BuzzSumo is a really cool tool to see what is currently trending on the Internet. It’s always important to stay informed of the trends as a social media manager so this tool definitely comes in handy.
Trello or Asana
A project management tool is a must for social media managers because you need to be able to keep your head on straight with all of your different clients.
Boardbooster
This Pinterest scheduler has been a lifesaver for me because it has a “set it and forget it” functionality so that I don’t have to worry about paying too much attention to Pinterest.
Tailwind
Tailwind is another Pinterest scheduler that I couldn’t live without. I know it seems weird that I use two Pinterest schedulers but trust me, they work together seamlessly.
Planoly
Planoly is the scheduler that I use for Instagram. I’m currently utilizing the free version which is enough for me at this time as it offer 30 free posts per month.
