I’ve mentioned before why it’s important to plan your social media so today I’m diving a little deeper in that and sharing the tools I use to plan my social media content on a daily basis. Let’s dive in to the best tools for scheduling social media content, shall we?
Best Tools for Scheduling Social Media Content
SmarterQueue
SmarterQueue is what I use to recycle my content on both Facebook and Twitter. Ever since I started using it at the end of 2015, I’ve saved so many hours. I no longer have to go back and schedule my older posts at a later date because as soon as its added to the queue on SmarterQueue, it recycles through all of my posts for me. I plan on doing a more in-depth review of SmarterQueue in the coming months so if this tool sounds interesting to you, then be on the lookout for that post.
Free options: Hootsuite and Buffer
Boardbooster
I use Boardbooster for scheduling my pins on Pinterest for me. My favorite features are the looping feature where it automatically puts your older pins to the top of your boards on a daily basis so that more eyes can get on your older content. I’ve talked more in-depth about how I use Boardbooster before so if you’re interested in learning more about the service then feel free to check out that post.
Tailwind
Along with Boardbooster, I also use Tailwind for scheduling my pins. My favorite feature on Tailwind is the Tribes feature which is essentially like a big group board on Tailwind. It makes finding content to share on my Pinterest and other social media channels so much easier to find because I can just go to my blogging related tribes and pull content from there.
Plann
Plann is the scheduler that I use for Instagram. The free plan offers up to 10 posts a month. You can upgrade to unlimited posts for one user for just $3/month. I love being able to plan out how my feed is going to look in advance. Plann also has a cool feature where you can save different hashtag sets and easily pull from them when you’re posting.
Other options: Planoly and Later
