As a solopreneur, there are some pretty lonely times so it’s essential to have a few understanding people in your corner to help you through the ups and downs of owning a business. If you’ve stumbled upon this post and you don’t have at least one biz bestie within your reach, then you’re going to want to keep on reading. I have made a few biz besties since starting my blog and business and it’s been an absolute blessing.
Why You Need a Biz Bestie
Reason #1: They provide you with a support system and understand your biz struggles
I don’t know about you, but this whole being my own boss thing has been a complete whirlwind at times. Being able to chat with someone who supports you in all of your endeavors that isn’t your significant other or real life friend can be really comforting.
Your biz bestie has either been there, done that or they’re at a similar place as you are on their business journey. Being able to talk with someone who is going along the same ride as you are is so helpful. They can provide insight that you may have not even known you needed.
Reason #2: You can share resources
Like I mentioned above, one of you has probably learned something the other hasn’t gone through yet so you can pool your resources together and help one another out. Maybe your biz bestie is a social media guru and you’re a web designer, then you two can share resources without directly competing.
Reason #3: They share the love
My business besties are some of my biggest fans and vice versa. We willingly share each other’s content and other offers without even having to ask. Having that support system is essential to navigating the online business world.
Reason #4: They inspire you to be your best
My biz besties inspire me to do better in all aspects of my business. They tell me their honest opinion and give me excellent feedback that helps me be a better business owner, boss, and social media manager/strategist.
