Why Your Biz Doesn’t Need to be on Every Social Media Platform

A lot of people are under the impression that their business needs to have a presence of absolutely every single social media channel in existence and that just isn’t true. While it is definitely important to have a social media presence, you should only be on those social media channels that make sense for you and your business. Let’s hop right in to why your biz doesn’t need to be on every social media platform so that you don’t waste any more time on channels that aren’t doing your business justice.

As a business owner, you need to read this! I'm dishing why your biz doesn't need to be on every social media channel.

Why Your Biz Doesn’t Need to be on Every Social Media Platform

Reason #1 Your audience is not on every single channel

There’s no point wasting your time and energy on certain social media channels if your audience doesn’t even have a presence on those channels. It’s best to focus your time and energy on those channels where your audience is at so that you can get the most bang for your buck.

For example, I recommend only focusing on 2-3 social media channels. I’ve chosen Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter as my focuses because those bring me the biggest return on investment. I also put my time and energy into engaging on Facebook groups because that is where I’ve gotten the majority of my clients from.

Reason #2 Your time is precious

Like I mentioned above, wasting your time and energy on social media sites that your target audience isn’t hanging out is practically useless. Your time is valuable so it should be spent doing things that make you money and if your audience isn’t on Twitter, then there’s no point in trying to increase your Twitter following and engagement each week. Your time can be spent elsewhere.
