WordPress Plugins You Need
Better Click to Tweet
Better Click to Tweet makes a tweetable image for your post. I like inserting these in my informational posts so that can people can easily share my post on Twitter if they enjoy it. I feel like when you have a prewritten tweet you also increase the chances of someone sharing it because everything is already done for them.
Pretty Link
This is a plugin that I recently discovered and I totally wish I would’ve found it sooner. It allows you to convert your affiliate links into links that include your URL so they are so much easier to remember. For example, my ConvertKit affiliate link is now www.confettisocial.com/convertkit instead of a bunch of random letters or numbers.
WP Smush
This plugin makes it so much easier for you to compress your images and optimize them on your blog. When you have a lot of big images on your website, it slows it down a bit so it’s important to compress them to help improve your site speed.
Ultimate Nofollow
This plugin makes adding no follow links a breeze. I explained why you need to use no follow links a few months ago and this plugin allows you to turn affiliate or sponsored post links into no follow links in just a few short clicks.
Yoast SEO
Yoast SEO is one plugin you shouldn’t skip out on. Although it isn’t the be all, end all SEO method, it has some perks that help you with on-page optimization. I use it to guide me through each and every blog post here on Confetti Social.
Your Turn:
Of course, there are definitely more plugins that I use such as Essential Grid and a lot of Genesis related plugins but I just wanted to include my all-time favorites that help this blog function properly.
Do you use any of the plugins on this list? What are the WordPress plugins you need to keep your website running? Please feel free to let me know down in the comments.
